SAFETY OFFICER

• Ensure that all Health & Safety policies, procedures, rules and regulations are adhered to and are regularly reviewed, updated and communicated. • Assist to conduct regular risk assessments across all areas of the operation to identify potential hazards and vulnerabilities. • Follow the safety and security protocols to prevent accidents, incidents, and security breaches. • Ensure compliance with OSHA, DOSH and NEBOSH. • Monitor compliance with environmental regulations and sustainable practices. • Assist in monitoring emergency response plans, including fire safety, evacuation procedures, and crisis management. • To oversight the subordinates and employees in the HSE team member. • To become secretary to the safety and health committee. • To monitor the safety in organizing and implementing safety and health program at the workplace. • Maintain accurate records of all HSE-related activities. • Ensure compliance with all applicable laws and regulations. • Participate in regular audits and inspections of facilities and operations to identify areas of improvement. Requirements: • Diploma / Bachelor’s degree in occupational health and safety, Environmental Science, or a related field. • At least 3 years of working experience in relevant role or industrial manufacturing. • Certificate in occupational health and safety (Valid Green Book Holder) in preferred. • Well versed in OSHA act & regulations. • Excellent communication skills with the ability to present and explain health and safety topics. • Experience in writing and able to prepare report and provide statistical information to upper management.
