Job Overview:

We are seeking a results-driven Commercial Executive to drive direct B2B sales efforts for ticketing at our cybersecurity conference. This role is crucial for driving revenue and ensuring that our event reaches and engage the right audience.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Sales Strategy and Planning

  • Develop and execute a sales strategy focused on ticket sales to B2B clients in IT Security industry.
  • Identify and target decision-makers within relevant organizations for direct ticket sales.
  • Set and achieve sales targets, contributing to overall revenue growth.

2. Client Acquisition and Management

  • Build and manage a pipeline of prospective B2B clients for event attendance.
  • Conduct outreach via calls, emails, and meetings to convert leads into attendees.
  • Foster long-term relationships with clients to encourage repeat business.

3. Market Research and Targeting

  • Research market trends, key industries, and potential client segments to identify new opportunities.
  • Understand client needs and position conference attendance as a valuable investment.

4. Collaboration and Coordination

  • Work closely with marketing to align campaigns with ticketing sales goals and leverage promotional tools.
  • Coordinate with the events team to ensure seamless communication of attendee requirements.
  • Provide insights and feedback from clients to inform event planning and marketing strategies.

5. Reporting and Analysis

  • Track sales performance against targets and report progress to senior management.
  • Analyze sales data and market feedback to refine strategies and improve outcomes.
  • Prepare post-event evaluations to assess client satisfaction and ROI.

Key Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Sales, Marketing, or a related field.
  • Proven track record in B2B sales, with experience in events, ticketing, or related industries preferred.
  • A strong understanding of the IT sector is a plus.
  • Exceptional communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Results-oriented with a proven ability to meet and exceed sales targets.
  • Analytical mindset with proficiency in CRM systems and sales reporting tools.
