A Marketing Manager plays a crucial role in developing and executing a company's marketing strategy to drive growth and increase brand awareness.
This job entails:
- -Leads the development of branding and corporate identity initiatives; -Responsible for understanding consumers and applying consumer insights into developing a creative strategic plan for packaging, social media ads and point-of-sale materials; -Strong, differentiated and bold conceptual, graphic design, type, and page layout skills for projects ranging from packaging to media to point-of-sale materials; -Responsible for managing and supporting a team of graphic designers to bring concepts, presentations, and prototypes to life. Collaborate on the ideation and development of innovative marketing campaigns; -Participate in the execution of the entire creative process within an allotted time frame and budget; -Work with project managers and creative staff to ensure that schedules are accurate and realistic and deadlines met; -Lead presentations and effectively communicate a creative vision; -Collaborate with managers, designers, writers, other marketing team members, and external stakeholders (eg: digital agency) to ensure the appropriate concepts, themes, and messages are represented effectively and consistently for the business objective(s) and audience(s); -Stay on top of the latest standards, processes, and trends in the visual design field; -Responsible for all pre-production meetings for projects including photoshoots, video editing, and delivery; -Hiring, training, and supervising creative staff.
Education: 1) Bachelor's degree in marketing, business, or a related field; MBA or advanced degree is often preferred. Experience:
1) Minimum 5 years’ experience in a marketing role.
2) Proven track record of success in marketing leadership roles, with several years of experience in marketing.
3) Strong understanding of digital marketing, social media, SEO, content marketing, and advertising strategies.
4) Experience running successful marketing campaigns
5) Solid knowledge of web analytics and Google Adwords
6) Exceptional leadership and team management skills.
7) Creative thinking and the ability to develop innovative marketing strategies.
8) Knowledge of relevant marketing tools and technologies.
