Job Summary:
Ensure that stores, shelves or websites are stocked with the right types and quantities of products. The merchandiser's responsibilities include understanding customer behavior, monitoring stock movements, managing inventory levels, ensuring product displays are appealing to customers and implementing promotional activities.
Responsibilities:
- Analyse and forecast sales through detailed, review of reports to identify top rank and ensure 100% stock fulfilment across all store.
- Ensure all stores are operating with optimal stock levels through inventory control.
- Ensuring product assortments are sorted correctly to increase productivity and minimize ageing stock holding.
- Minimize year-end inventory, and maximize sales and profit of stores through a mix of merchandising, sales, and marketing strategies.
- Liaise with principle on shipment stock discrepancy and submitting report accordingly as require, follow up on credit note with principle.
- Working as team with warehouse members for stock allocation, stock movement and stock deliveries timeline as scheduled.
- Take fast action on problem solving for all boutiques related to any stock issue.
- Forecasting stock quantity need to be order for best seller and managing effectiveness of overall assortment.
- Ensure Product master database well maintenance and price accurately updated.
- Daily e-mail corresponding on customer stock request.
- Require to co-ordinate with marketing department on mailer/flyer checking, to ensure price and description correctly feature for promotion and new launch collection.
- Dealing with corporate sales on stock and payment arrangement.
- Analysing e-commerce sales and stock level, to ensure stock replenishment schedule with timeline given.
- Assist with deliveries where required.
- Require to fulfil any ad hoc task as require by business unit.
Requirements:
- Candidate must possess at least a SPM/STPM/Diploma in any field.
- Minimum 3 years’ experience in merchandising or retail.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
- Demonstrated strong numerical and analytical abilities.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively.
- Ability to work in team-driven environment.
- Ability to be flexible & adaptable to the need of the business.
- Willingness to constantly learn & develop.
- Good working attitude, responsibility and punctuality.
