What You Will Do:

• Provide comprehensive support to the Procure-to-Pay (PTP) Accounts Payable Team, ensuring professional and consistent service delivery to stakeholders by effectively resolving inquiries and enhancing team efficiency.
• Manage the end-to-end PTP payment process, ensuring the accurate and timely processing of payments for invoices (trade and non-trade payables), T&E (Travel & Expense) claims, and adherence to relevant policies and regulations.
• Prepare and post journal entries for PTP adjustments to maintain accurate financial records.
• Perform bank reconciliation adjustments associated with payments, ensuring accuracy and compliance.
• Ensure all tasks are completed before the Accounts Payable module closure during month-end processes.
• Investigate and resolve errors and queries, escalating complex issues to the Process Lead or Manager as needed.
• Provide backup support within the team to ensure seamless operations and foster a collaborative and motivating work environment.
• Undertake ad hoc assignments as delegated by the PTP Team Lead.
• Assist in year-end audits for the PTP Unit, ensuring timely and accurate support to the audit process.
• Identify and contribute to system and process improvements, recommending enhancements to drive efficiency and standardization.

What You Will Need:

Education Background

• Diploma or bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, or a related field is required.

Work Experience

• 2–3 years of experience in accounts payable, with a focus on payment processing, preferably within a shared services environment.

Technical Skills

• Basic knowledge of accounting principles, practices, and procedures, with the ability to make accurate accounting entries.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools, particularly Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
• Experience in process improvements, including standardization, migration, or automation, is highly valued.
• Familiarity with Oracle or SAP systems is an advantage.

Soft Skills

• Highly independent and self-motivated, capable of working effectively with minimal supervision.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to build relationships across teams and stakeholders.
• Demonstrated ability to present ideas and information clearly and concisely.
