Roles and Responsibilities
- Monitor server and application performance & tuning via various commands. Also monitor daily activities like system logs, troubleshooting if any.
- Perform disaster recovery.
- Help and perform root-cause analysis.
- Checking Storage for threshold limits for Production and Disaster Recovery Servers.
- Checking Diagnostic Errors.
- Monitoring on Storage Extension for Production and Disaster Recovery Servers.
- Meet the targets and deadlines as per the project schedule.
- Pro-actively seek clarification and guidance when in doubt.
- Provide in-line documentation that meets the requirement for systems documentation & maintenance purposes.
- Provide systems and end-user documentation that is accurate, complete and conforms to the standards set.
- Participate in ad-hoc tasks when deemed required based on workload, targets and deadlines imposed on the team.
- Multi-tasking work on many projects at once, strong multi-tasking skills are essential.
- Identify potential system issues and provide timely solutions or recommendations.
- Support the deployment and maintenance of new projects and system enhancements.
- Monitor and troubleshoot system performance to ensure optimal efficiency and reliability.
Requirements
- Minimum Bachelor’s Degree in Software Engineering, Computer Science/Information Technology or equivalent.
- Understand and able to implement Opensource/Windows technology for application/web server.
- Experience/Knowledge in Linux/Windows server.
- Understand web technology and architecture.
- Knowledge of Web browsers, Servers and Web application & Client Server architecture.
