Job Responsibilities:

Development and identifying of new business opportunities with tailored value proposition
Formulate Sales strategies/focus with Sales Manager in line with management’s direction.
Key partner to the Commercial team in identifying business opportunities and defining customer value proposition.
Driving product awareness and pursuit of new business opportunities with Sales team
Key driver of E-commerce and digital initiatives locally
Participate in identifying, screening, evaluating and developing business development projects.
Drive innovation for generation of ideas and business development opportunities
Conduct economic and business assessments to ensure project viability.
Develop recommendations for business plan and budget.
Monitor and identify any threats to projects due to lack of progress with effective and timely remedial actions.
Act as a focal point towards value creation for customer/end user
Grow local presence across products with Commercial team.
Be responsible for ensuring alignment between all stakeholders externally and internally
Prepare and track weekly progress with Sales team and Management

Job Requirements

Minimum Diploma in any discipline
Minimum 5 years of sales related function from shipping industry/logistics company
Strong MS Office software application
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Good communication and inter-personal skills
Result and customer oriented
Team player with can-do attitude
Have self -drive and passion to deal with people.
Able to work independently.
Meticulous with eye for details
Excellent critical thinking skills, creative in coming up with initiatives that align to business goals.
Highly organized and ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously.
