Shipping & Warehouse Executive (Mechanical Industry)

Key Responsibilities: 1. Inventory Management: Monitor and manage inventory levels of mechanical parts, tools, and materials. Conduct regular stock audits and cycle counts to ensure inventory accuracy. Update inventory records in the warehouse management system (WMS). 2. Materials Handling & Storage: Ensure proper storage of materials, adhering to safety and quality guidelines for mechanical components. Handle loading, unloading, and transportation of goods using appropriate equipment. Implement FIFO (First-In, First-Out) and LIFO (Last-In, First-Out) as per company policy. 3. Order Processing: Prepare and dispatch materials as per production or client requirements. Coordinate with logistics teams for timely shipments and deliveries. 4. Equipment Maintenance: Maintain warehouse machinery (forklifts, cranes, etc.) and ensure they are in good working condition. Report any equipment malfunctions or maintenance requirements to the relevant department. 5. Documentation & Reporting: Maintain accurate records of incoming and outgoing shipments. Generate daily, weekly, and monthly reports on inventory and warehouse activities. 6. Coordination & Communication: Collaborate with the procurement and production teams to meet material requirements. Communicate with vendors and transporters regarding material deliveries and logistics. 7. Safety & Compliance: Ensure the warehouse complies with safety regulations and company policies. Train warehouse staff on handling mechanical components and using equipment safely. Conduct safety drills and inspections regularly. 8. Continuous Improvement: Identify and implement process improvements to enhance warehouse efficiency. Use lean methodologies to minimize waste and optimize storage space. 9.Handling custom documents (LMW)
