Pre-Tender Preparation Check government websites and other relevant sources to identify tenders the company can participate in. Conduct feasibility studies and secure budget approvals for projects. Analyze and assess related costs to project feasibility. Establish tender scope, and implement procurement strategies and procedures for project execution. Tender Process Conduct the tender process and obtain approvals for final awards. Issue Letters of Award to selected contractors or subcontractors. Procure or agree on the services of contractors and subcontractors for the construction project. Review and ensure completeness of contract documentation. Analyze costs from various suppliers and vendors. Monitor the project tender award schedule. Project Execution Plan, organize, coordinate, and manage cost control throughout the project. Review material specifications and select the best options within budget and quality parameters. Monitor and manage the procurement process from requisition to delivery, ensuring timely availability of materials. Maintain accurate records of all procurement activities for audit and reporting. Coordinate with the finance department for timely payment of invoices and resolution of discrepancies. Cost and Budget Management Track project construction costs and manage the procurement budget to stay within approved limits. Resolve outstanding claim issues related to variation orders and final accounts. Manage costs and budgets for the company's projects, implementing effective inventory management systems to minimize waste. Supplier and Stakeholder Management Source, select, and negotiate with suppliers to obtain the best value for goods and services. Develop and maintain relationships with key suppliers to ensure continuous supply and favorable terms. Team Leadership Plan, organize, monitor, and guide the Quantity Surveying (QS) and procurement teams on all aspects of QS and procurement activities. Meetings and Reporting Attend project-related meetings, including CCM, site meetings, and departmental meetings, as necessary.
