Role: Tune Talk operates in a highly competitive and rapidly evolving telecommunications market. As the company expands its reach, especially with the integration of advanced solutions like Xius MVNO Suite and HPCall, a skilled MVNO Roaming Specialist is essential. This role ensures that Tune Talk remains at the forefront of innovation by offering superior roaming experiences, optimizing operational costs, and leveraging 5G technology to support IoT and smart device connectivity. Key Technical Responsibilities 1. Roaming Network Optimization: o Deploy and manage smart routing systems for global roaming traffic using platforms like Xius MVNO Suite. o Optimize HPCall to reduce roaming call termination costs and improve call quality. o Configure roaming profiles to ensure seamless transitions across 2G, 3G, 4G, and 5G networks. 2. 5G Roaming Integration: o Implement 5G Standalone (SA) and Non-Standalone (NSA) roaming solutions to support high-speed and low-latency services. o Collaborate with technical teams to enable VoNR (Voice over New Radio) and enhance 5G-based IoT roaming capabilities. o Ensure compatibility of Xius MVNO Suite with 5G roaming standards for scalability and future-proofing. 3. Smart Routing and Cost Management: o Leverage smart routing algorithms to optimize call and data routing, minimizing latency and operational costs. o Use HPCall to monitor real-time traffic and enforce cost-saving measures during peak roaming periods. o Analyze Border Gateway Protocol (BGP) configurations to optimize traffic flow across international networks. 4. Data Roaming Optimization: o Manage and analyze data usage with tools integrated into Xius MVNE/MVNO platform to ensure fair usage and cost efficiency. o Set up and enforce real-time data throttling policies while maintaining quality service for customers. o Monitor and predict roaming data traffic trends using advanced analytics to support Tune Talk’s expansion goals. 5. Troubleshooting and Technical Support: o Resolve complex roaming issues related to signaling protocols (e.g., SS7, Diameter, SIP). o Conduct Root Cause Analysis (RCA) for recurring technical challenges in roaming and implement permanent solutions. o Coordinate with international operators and vendors like Xius and HPCall for issue resolution and system upgrades. 6. Regulatory Compliance and Reporting: o Ensure all roaming solutions adhere to Malaysian Communication and Multimedia Commission (MCMC) and GSMA standards. o Provide detailed performance and compliance reports, incorporating analytics from roaming platforms. o Implement best practices for data privacy and cross-border data handling. _____ Technical Skills and Expertise • Telecommunications Platforms: o Proficient in managing MVNO solutions, including Xius MVNO Suite, HPCall, and similar platforms. o Knowledge of Hosted Core Network (HCN) solutions and Virtualized EPC for MVNOs. • 5G Expertise: o Hands-on experience with 5G SA/NSA technologies, network slicing, and virtualization for tailored services. o Strong understanding of VoNR, VoLTE, and advanced signaling technologies for 5G roaming. • Smart Routing and Traffic Management: o Experience with smart routing tools for efficient traffic management and cost optimization. o Proficiency in SD-WAN, MPLS, and BGP configurations. • Signaling and Protocols: o Advanced knowledge of SS7, Diameter, SIP, and SMPP for seamless interconnectivity. o Familiarity with next-gen signaling solutions for 5G and IoT roaming. • Data Analytics and Optimization: o Use of analytics platforms integrated with Xius MVNE/MVNO solutions for traffic monitoring and predictive analysis. o Real-time monitoring and management of data roaming with tools like Wireshark and Tableau. • Regulatory and Compliance Knowledge: o In-depth understanding of MCMC regulations, GSMA standards, and international roaming agreements.
