IT Support( Software Engineer 2)

Job Details: Role Title: Software Engineer 2-IT Support Role Type: Initial 2 Years and Extendable Contract through Optimum Infosolutions – KL, Malaysia Job Location: Bukit Mertajam, Penang, Malaysia Key Responsibilities: • Assists in collecting test requirements and creating basic test plans and test cases. • Follows risk management plans and executes test automation scripts. • Works assigned test engineering tasks according to project plans including schedule, budget and component cost targets. • Documents text execution progress and issues. • Works assigned tasks while exercising basic knowledge of engineering technology and basic skills with engineering tools. • Follows test engineering standard processes and procedures. Essential Requirements: • Typically requires a minimum 2+ years of related experience in a professional role; or equivalent experience. • Basic understanding of computer hardware and software system architecture. • Basic understanding of hardware and software interactions, and able to apply this understanding to resolve issues. • Able to easily achieve mastery of new tools, languages and operating systems. • Proficient in reading and understanding technical data sheets.
