Work Location : Damansara Perdana (DPAC Empire Damansara)
· Source and evaluate suppliers for food and beverage ingredients, packaging materials, and other related products.
· Negotiate with suppliers to secure favourable terms, including pricing, quality standards, and delivery schedules.
· Develop and implement cost control strategies to optimize expenses while maintaining quality standards.
· Analyze financial data to identify areas for cost reduction and efficiency improvement.
· Conduct regular cost audits and variance analyses to ensure adherence to budgetary constraints.
· Oversee and optimize inventory levels to prevent overstocking or stockouts.
· Implement inventory control measures, such as proper storage and rotation, to minimize waste and holding costs.
· Collaborate with storekeepers and other relevant departments to ensure accurate inventory records.
· Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with key suppliers, ensuring open communication and collaborative problem-solving.
· Address and resolve any issues related to product quality, delivery delays, or pricing discrepancies.
· Prepare and present financial reports related to procurement costs, cost control measures, and budget adherence.
· Provide insights and recommendations based on financial analyses to support decision-making.
· Identify and mitigate potential risks related to procurement, supply chain disruptions, and market fluctuations.
· Collaborate with internal departments, including finance, operations, and culinary teams, to align procurement and cost control strategies with overall business objectives.
Requirements
Qualifications and Skills:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, or a related field.
- Proven experience in procurement and cost control roles within the F&B industry.
- Strong negotiation skills and a solid understanding of market dynamics.
- Analytical mindset with proficiency in financial analysis and cost accounting.
- Familiarity with inventory management systems and procurement software.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic F&B environment.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: RM3,000.00 - RM4,000.00 per month
