Job Description: Admin Staff for Tuition Centre

Position: Admin Staff

Location: Kajang Town

Employment Type: Full-Time

Salary: RM 1500 - RM 1800

Role Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and organized Admin Staff to manage day-to-day administrative operations at our tuition centre. The ideal candidate will be the first point of contact for parents and students, ensuring smooth coordination between the teaching staff and management while maintaining excellent customer service.

Key Responsibilities

1. Administrative Duties:

  • Maintain student records, attendance, and class schedules.
  • Handle registration processes for new and existing students.
  • Prepare and update timetables and tuition schedules.

2. Customer Service:

  • Greet and assist parents, students, and visitors with inquiries.
  • Respond promptly to phone calls, emails, and messages.
  • Address feedback or escalate issues to management when necessary.

3. Financial Management:

  • Manage tuition fee collections, issue receipts, and track payments.
  • Prepare basic financial reports for management review.

4. Office Management:

  • Ensure the centre is well-maintained, clean, and equipped with necessary supplies.
  • Coordinate with vendors for materials, printing, and other requirements.

5. Support for Classes:

  • Assist tutors with administrative needs, such as printing and distributing learning materials.
  • Schedule and communicate class changes or cancellations to students and parents.

Qualifications and Skills

  • Education: Minimum SPM or equivalent (Diploma in Office Management or related field preferred).
  • Experience: Prior experience in an administrative or customer service role is an advantage.
  • Skills:
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and basic IT tools.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills (in English and Bahasa Malaysia).
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment.
