Position: Associate Alliance/Partner Executive

Job Overview: The Associate Alliance/Partner Executive plays a key role in supporting the development and management of strategic partnerships and alliances. This position is an entry-to-mid-level role focused on assisting with the operational aspects of partner relationship management, supporting business development activities, and helping execute partnership strategies to drive growth. The associate will work closely with senior alliance managers, cross-functional teams, and external partners to ensure the success of partnerships and contribute to the achievement of business goals.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Partner Relationship Support

  • Assist in building and maintaining relationships with existing and potential partners.

  • Act as a liaison between internal teams and external partners, ensuring smooth communication and timely follow-up on partnership matters.

  • Help resolve minor issues or concerns raised by partners, escalating to senior managers as necessary.

2. Partnership Execution

  • Support the execution of partnership strategies and plans by ensuring all tasks, milestones, and deliverables are met on time.

  • Help organize and track partnership activities, including joint marketing campaigns, sales initiatives, and product launches.

  • Assist in monitoring the performance of partnerships, providing regular updates and feedback to senior alliance managers.

3. Administrative and Operational Support

  • Provide administrative support, including scheduling meetings, preparing reports, and maintaining partnership documentation (contracts, agreements, performance metrics).

  • Maintain a database or CRM system to track partner activities, opportunities, and interactions.

  • Coordinate internal meetings with various departments (sales, marketing, legal, etc.) to align on partnership initiatives.

4. Market Research and Analysis

  • Conduct market research to identify potential new partners and assess current market trends.

  • Assist in analyzing the performance of existing partnerships, identifying areas for improvement or expansion.

  • Support competitive analysis by gathering information on competitor partnerships and strategies.

5. Partner Enablement

  • Help in training and supporting partners by providing necessary resources and tools to help them succeed in joint ventures.

  • Assist in the creation and distribution of partner enablement materials such as sales kits, product information, and promotional content.

6. Reporting and Performance Tracking

  • Assist in preparing regular reports on partnership performance, including key metrics such as sales growth, lead generation, and market penetration.

  • Track the success of specific partnership initiatives, providing insights and recommendations to senior management.

7. Collaboration and Coordination

  • Work closely with internal teams (sales, marketing, product, etc.) to ensure that partnership goals are aligned with overall business objectives.

  • Help facilitate collaboration between internal teams and external partners to drive joint initiatives and ensure successful implementation.


Skills and Qualifications:

  • Education: A bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, or a related field. An MBA or additional certifications in alliance/partner management is a plus.


2. Experience: 1-3 years of experience in partner or alliance management, sales, business development, or a related field. Experience in managing relationships or working with partners is advantageous but not required.


3. Communication Skills: Strong verbal and written communication skills to effectively interact with partners and internal stakeholders.


4. Organizational Skills: Strong attention to detail with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines.


5. Analytical Thinking: Ability to assess data, identify trends, and draw insights to improve partnership performance.


6. Tech Savvy: Familiarity with CRM systems (e.g., Salesforce) and Microsoft Office Suite. Knowledge of partnership management tools is a plus.


7. Problem-Solving Skills: Ability to resolve issues proactively and provide creative solutions in a partnership context.
