Position Summary:

The Pricing Manager for Spares Products is responsible for defining, implementing, and maintaining comprehensive pricing policies and structures across all spares products and BOMs. This role manages the calculation, adjustment, and consistent application of sales prices for individual spares products, as well as harmonized and customer-specific pricelists. Key responsibilities include overseeing spares price uploads in the quoting system (CPQ), ensuring compliance with customer-specific terms, and supporting accurate discount calculations.

This position requires close collaboration with the OEM Protect Team to maintain consistent contract pricing, as well as frequent margin analyses to meet margin targets. The Pricing Manager also leads cost-reduction initiatives in partnership with Spares Operations and Sourcing, ensuring continuous improvement in Direct Production Costs (DPC) and profitability. Compliance with Sarbanes-Oxley (SarbOx) controls, audit preparation, department reporting, and KPI analysis are also critical aspects of the role.

Key responsibilities

  • Responsible to define and continuously maintain the detailed pricing rules in the pricing policy
  • Manage calculation and maintenance of sales prices for spares products and spare families
  • Ensure consistency of the pricing structure across all spares products and BOMs
  • Manage implementation and maintenance of one harmonized generic pricelist
  • Manage creation and maintenance of customer specific price lists for spares products.
  • Responsible to manage upload and maintenance of spares prices in the quoting system (CPQ) and ensure accurate discount calculation based on individual customer T&Cs.
  • Cooperate closely with OEM Protect Team to ensure efficient and consistent contract pricing
  • Responsible to drive regular margin analyses to ensure margin targets are consistently met
  • Drive cost down activities in cooperation with Spares Operations and Sourcing to continuously reduce Direct Product Cost (DPC) and improve margins
  • Responsible for SarbOx controls and to attend related audits
  • Support department reporting and KPI analyses

Requirement And Qualification

  • English business fluent (verbally and in writing) to full professional proficiency level.
  • PC knowledge especially Microsoft Office - advanced XLS skills (power user)
  • Experienced with ERP and Quoting Systems preferably Oracle /CPQ
  • Min. 7 years past experience in technical cost calculations or similar function
  • Preferred to be able to start work immediately
  • Open to travel
  • Bachelor Degree in Business Administration & Marketing or equivalent professional qualification.
  • Min. GCE A-Level / STPM or equivalent certificates in Engineering and/or Business Admin

Salary: MYR10,000 – MYR14,500 per month
