Responsible for accurate and timely financial reporting, effective cash flow management and providing relevant and accurate finance information for decision making.
Responsibilities and Duties- Prepare monthly financial report timely.
- Prepare monthly billing to TNB & internal billing timely.
- Monitor on a monthly basis on utilization of OPEX and Overhaul expenditure in line with the approved annual budget.
- Review cash monitoring, bank reconciliation and monthly accounting data timely and accurately.
- Prepare & analyse operations & maintenance (O&M) annual budget timely.
- Monitor payment process for vendor and staff claims being processed in line with Finance Department Standard Operating Procedures (SOP).
- Update Mandatory & Recommended Spares value quarterly for Jimah Power Plant’s updates spares value accordingly.
- Assist head office during annual audit and tax assessment.
- Comply with all applicable SHEQ legal requirements and our stakeholders’ specifications by establishing policies, programmes and practices in order to conduct operations in a healthy, safe and environmentally sound manner with safety first, quality foremost & pursuing excellence.
- To perform other additional tasks that are relevant and necessary to accomplish the company overall objectives, which may be assigned from time to time.
- Minimum Education Qualification required:
- Bachelor of Accounting or;
- Bachelor of Finance or Accounting or;
- Bachelor of Finance and Investment or;
- Bachelor of Banking and Finance;
- Degree in Accounting / Finance from a recognized universities / higher learning institute.
- Minimum years of working experience related to the work scope:
- Minimum 3 years’ experience in finance & accounting operational.
- Hands on with analytical skills
- Planning & organising skills.
- Good interpersonal skills.
- Ability to write and speak in Bahasa Malaysia and English language.
