About the role

Our thriving Seremban based manufacturing company, HORIZON DESIGN AND ENGINEERING SDN BHD, is seeking a skilled CNC Technician to join our dynamic team. In this full-time role, you will be responsible for the operation, maintenance, and programming of our state-of-the-art CNC machines, playing a crucial part in our manufacturing processes.

What you'll be doing

  • Operate and monitor CNC machines to ensure efficient and accurate production
  • Perform routine maintenance and troubleshoot any issues with the CNC equipment
  • Program and adjust CNC machines to meet production requirements and specifications
  • Collaborate with the engineering team to optimize production workflows and processes
  • Maintain detailed records of machine operations, production data, and any repairs
  • Adhere to all safety protocols and quality control standards
  • Assist with engineering drawing

What we're looking for

  • Minimum 2 years of experience as a CNC Technician or in a similar role within the manufacturing, transport and logistics industry
  • Strong knowledge of CNC machine programming, operation, and maintenance
  • Proficiency in reading and interpreting technical drawings, blueprints, and specifications
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills to identify and resolve issues
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team to meet production targets
  • Commitment to safety and quality control standards
