Job Requirement: • Must have hospitality background. • At least have 5 years of working experience in the related field is required for this position. • Possess strong accounting knowledge and understanding of overall operations and finance functions. • Able to work independently, a good team player and possess good leadership skills. • Computer liberate and proficiency in MS Excel is necessary. Job Description: • To control and monitor all cost in the Resort and to ensure strict control are in place to ensure there is no discrepancy and shortages and all standards comply to the Resort’s SOP. • Responsible for all the financial aspect of the resort and the efficient operation of the Finance department. • Responsible to the General Manager for the selection and employment of all accounting personnel. • Maintain a system of accounts and controls which will provide the data necessary for all required accounting reports and statements. • Provide and maintain an effective control of the assets of the hotel. • Maintenance of accounting records. • Compilation of Financial Statements and Reports. • Planning and Budgetary Control. • Tax and Secretarial functions. • Scrutinises and approves all disbursement vouchers and cheques submitted to the General Manager or other higher authority category for payment. • Examines and approves Daily Reports, Food and Beverage Weekly Reports and other periodical operating and financial reports to management. • Prepares or supervises the preparation of monthly closing journal entries and Balance Sheet and Profit and Loss Schedules.
