Purchasing Clerks compile requests for materials, prepare purchase orders, keep track of purchases and supplies, and handle inquiries about orders
An experience with procurement software and systems, and familiarity with procurement policies, procedures, and industry standards.
Purchasing clerks also need to be able to work independently and as part of a team
Often handle multiple tasks at once, so they need to be organized
Able to manage purchase orders
Able to communicate clearly and continuously with suppliers and internal departments
Calculate order costs and analyze data like pricing, quality, and delivery.
Proficient in the Microsoft Office
