Responsibilities
- Handling the receipt of goods and materials, ensuring accuracy in quantity, quality, and specifications against purchase orders.
- Inspecting incoming shipments for damages or discrepancies and coordinating with suppliers for replacements or adjustments.
- Properly documenting and recording all received items, including maintaining updated logs and reports.
- Collaborating with purchasing, finance, and operations teams to resolve any discrepancies related to deliveries.
- Ensuring all receiving procedures comply with company policies and standards.
- Managing storage areas, verifying goods are properly labeled, and coordinating deliveries to relevant departments.
- Assisting in inventory control by updating stock records and participating in regular stock counts.
Qualifications
- Relevant experience in a similar role,
- Familiarity with receiving procedures, inventory systems, and documentation processes.
- Applicants must be willing to work in Johor Bahru.
