Finance Manager (Johor Bahru)

Job Responsibility

• Oversight, coordination and evaluation of all the organization’s Finance and Accounting functions include system controls and standards used by the Group.
• Ensures timely provision of Group financial and statistical reports for management.
• Ensuring that all accounting functions are accurately and effectively fulfilled.
• Manage treasury function, cash-flow forecast planning, financing strategies and advising on long/short term investment/capex.
• Working with all subsidiary heads to prepare budgets, forecasts and other financial plans.
• Working with all Subsidiary heads to ensure that their individual budgets are managed for the most effective and efficient use of financial resources.
• Liaison with the Subsidiaries to ensure that there is prudent financial management; that they maintain necessary facilities with the banks and those facilities are competitively priced.
• Liaison with external auditors to ensure that audits are properly planned, carried out and that financial reports are prepared within set timelines.
• Establishing and developing relations with senior management and external partners and stakeholders.
• Manage and advise on Tax planning and lead on all tax-related matters including provision and compliance process and review of tax returns and risks.
• Assist in the development and implementation of internal controls, process management and improvement, policy and procedures for the group.
• To carry out any other duties as may be assigned from time to time by the Director.

Job Requirements

• Candidate must possess at least Bachelor’s Degree /Professional Qualification in Finance/Accountancy (Preferable members of ACCA.CIMA or MACPA and MIA)
• At least with 5 years related experience.
• Ability to communicate in English, Bahasa Malaysia & Mandarin.
• Computer literate.
• Strong leadership and excellent interpersonal skill,
• Able to work independently to maintain high standards and accuracy.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: RM7,000.00 - RM14,000.00 per month

Schedule:

• Monday to Friday
