Your role and responsibilities

In this role, you will have the opportunity to support the Robotics organization/customers by bringing the ABB Robotics Customer Service portfolio/offer to the next level in alignment with the Robotics BU/PG business Strategy via the Digital Operation Center (DOC). The work model for the role is: #LI-onsite, #LI-hybrid This role is contributing to the Robotic & Discrete Automation Business for Digital Operations Center for Global Region. The position is based in Petaling Jaya, Malaysia. You will be mainly accountable for: • Prioritizing and responding to all inquiries from supported countries related to robot functionality, Connected Services reports, and technical specs etc. • Assisting with connected Services monitoring by ensuring all relevant alarms are reported to the customer/ internal representative within agreed timeframes and preparating Robot Condition Reports for supported countries based on agreements. • Performing analytic and diagnostic studies to determine most suitable technical solution to meet customer needs and proposing technical solutions for complex enquiries. • Adhering to all Customer Complaint process steps inclusive but not limited to logging cases for red cards received via Transactional NPS and direct customer complaints • Participating in all set and suggested trainings, including but not limited to products, services, applications, and skills. • Practicing safety and integrity in your daily work by following our principles, intervening or escalating when you see unethical or unsafe acts, and adhering to global hazards and SOT reporting targets. • Practicing ABB values in your daily and ensuring customer at the center of all decisions and value creation, and promoting lean culture by working towards process waste elimination.

Qualifications for the role

  • Diploma, Degree or above in Engineering or IT.
  • More than 3 years in support or application engineering position.
  • Experience in Robotics business, products, and services will be advantageous.
  • Ability to coordinate several tasks at the same time.
  • Good personal leadership skills to carry out assigned tasks with minimum supervision from superiors.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with strong proficiency in English. Additional proficiency in Mandarin is a plus.
