What is the opportunity?
RBC Investor & Treasury Services Malaysia is a processing center of operational excellence supporting 10 countries across three geographical time zones. The country employs a Global Operating Model to maximise efficiencies across times zones and supports a 24/5 operational capability.
You will be responsible for the day to day processing of reconciliations including Asset and Cash accounts on a daily basis via Reconciliations Platform to ensure the positions between the ledger and the relevant custodians agree. As a control function, the breaks on the reconciliation need to be kept to a minimum level to ensure accurate data is being maintained. The role is to deliver specific services to external and internal clients with high level of quality, efficiency and fostering a client first mindset.
You will be supporting UK region, working hours would be between 3pm to 12am or 4pm to 1am. However, flexibility is required to support business needs.

What will you do?
- Works closely with manager of department to achieve department and organization goals.
- Evaluates performance of staff and conducts appraisal for direct reporting.
- Constantly seeking increase production accuracy
- Action oriented - exhibits drive, motivation, communication and decision making skills
- Displays leadership and demonstrates ability to adapt to changes
- Identifying and encourage process improvement ideas.
- Manage the efficiency and productivity of the team to ensure all static data is maintained and updated in an accurate and timely manner
- Achieve all SLA's that have been agreed
- Analyze and Interpret Management Information
- Reviewing of process procedures periodically
What do you need to succeed?
Must-have
- Any prior banking experience in operations / Back office is a plus
- Word Knowledge of different investment instrument types
- PC literate in MS Office applications Excel
- 4 years relevant Securities Operations/financial services experience
- Motivated, flexible, able to be part of a team
Nice-to-have
- Flexibility in working hours and able to work in a team to achieve goals
- Excellent attention to details and communication skills
- Well-developed organisational and administrative skills
