DEVOPS – CI/CD IMPLEMENTATION SPECIALIST
Location: Cyberjaya/Putrajaya, Malaysia
Employment Type: Full-Time/ Contract
JOB SUMMARY
We are seeking an experienced DEVOPS - CI/CD Implementation Specialist to lead the adoption and deployment of Continuous Integration and Continuous Deployment (CI/CD) practices for IT projects. The successful candidate will work closely with regional and global IT teams to modernize and streamline development, testing, and deployment processes. This role requires hands-on expertise in CI/CD pipelines, collaboration with cross-functional teams, and effective knowledge transfer to teams worldwide.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
CI/CD Implementation
- Design, develop, and manage CI/CD pipelines tailored for IT projects in banking operations, with a focus on securities, asset servicing, and custody services.
- Automate build, test, and deployment processes to enhance efficiency and reduce time to market.
- Ensure CI/CD processes comply with banking regulations, security protocols, and operational standards.
Collaboration and Stakeholder Engagement
- Partner with development, QA, infrastructure, and security teams to align CI/CD practices with project requirements and objectives.
- Act as a liaison between IT teams in Malaysia and other regions to ensure alignment and consistency in CI/CD practices.
- Communicate progress, challenges, and solutions effectively to technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Knowledge Transfer and Training
- Develop and execute comprehensive knowledge transfer plans to train IT teams across regions on CI/CD best practices and tools.
- Conduct workshops, hands-on training sessions, and documentation to enable seamless adoption of CI/CD processes globally.
- Establish a feedback loop to gather insights from other regions and continuously improve the CI/CD framework.
Monitoring and Optimization
- Monitor CI/CD pipelines for performance, reliability, and security, resolving issues proactively.
- Analyze deployment metrics and refine pipelines to ensure optimal performance and alignment with business goals.
- Drive innovation by staying updated on industry trends and emerging CI/CD technologies.
QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS
Educational Background
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- DevOps, AWS, Azure certifications is a plus.
Experience
- 10+ years of experience in IT roles with a strong focus on CI/CD implementation in banking or financial services.
- Proven track record of implementing CI/CD pipelines for IT projects.
- Experience in global collaboration and knowledge transfer in a multi-regional setting.
Technical Skills
- Proficiency in CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, GitLab CI/CD, Azure DevOps, or equivalent.
- Expertise in containerization (Docker, Kubernetes) and infrastructure-as-code (e.g., Terraform, Ansible).
- Solid understanding of scripting languages (e.g., Python, Bash) and version control (e.g., Git).
- Knowledge of automated testing frameworks and security scanning tools (e.g., SonarQube or similar).
Soft Skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to convey technical concepts to non-technical audiences.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to manage complex, cross-functional projects.
- Adaptability to work in a fast-paced, collaborative, and multi-cultural environment.

Pay: RM5,000.00 - RM10,000.00 per month
