  • Assist in the preparation of the monthly and annual financial accounts for submission by the 15th of each month.
  • Producing an accurate set of month-end accounts, with comparisons to forecasts and previous periods
  • Preparing profit and loss accounts and the balance sheet for senior management

  • Reconciling bank statements and ensuring legislation is followed
  • Chasing late payments, reporting bad debt, and keeping a careful eye on the cash flow

  • Oversee and maintain all accounts payable, general ledger accounts, and all its computerised accounting functions, and ensure the system operates effectively and efficiently.
  • Monthly reconciliation of the general ledger and control accounts was prepared.
  • Handling the journalizing of accruals, prepayments, and adjustments Also, to ensure all reports, journals, and adjustments are properly authorised by the Accounts Controller
  • to be responsible for the issuance of debit and credit notes and the safekeeping of the books.
  • to maintain and record all bank transactions and to prepare bank reconciliation statements for all bank accounts.
  • to keep fit asset registers up to date and record fit asset numbers for tagging also, to record any disposals of assets,
  • The computation of the service charge
  • To assist in the supervision of the accounts department and to ensure its smooth running.
  • To assist in the analytical review and writing of reports on financial statements.
  • To assist in preparation of annual cash flow forecast and yearly budget.
  • To assist in handle staff evaluation and disciplines.
  • To carry any other duties, responsibilities and assignment wherever required, directed or instructed by superiors.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: RM3,000.00 - RM4,500.00 per month
