1.Position Title : Internship, Industrial Engineering MSE Responsibility : You will support senior engineers in some or most of the following tasks: • Line balancing based on cycle time study. • Implementing process improvement projects for reduction of non-value-added work. • Improvement of OEE (Overall Equipment Efficiency). • Perform Cp/Cpk analysis to improve process capability of stations. • Design of manufacturing stations, jigs, fixtures, trolleys, bins, etc based on ergonomic principles using 3D software such as SolidWorks and AutoCAD. • Development of optimal production layout using best practice principles. • Support Value Stream mapping and Six sigma projects. • Support the design and development of toolings for press and forming operations including Sheetmetal and busbars. Eligibility: • Candidate should be currently pursuing master’s in manufacturing system engineering or industrial engineering or related and must possess a degree in engineering or related fields. 2. Position Title : Internship, Research and Development Responsibility: • Support design and development of new products and/or product variants including sub-systems and parts using CAD software such as SolidWorks and AutoCAD. • Electromagnetic, electrodynamic, thermal and stress simulations using FEA software such as ANSYS. • Engage in part development and qualification with material suppliers and vendors including sheet-metal and plastic components. • Customization of designs for special applications. • Support type-testing and product validation tests in-house and at local test laboratories. • Support value engineering activities and design upgrades. • Learn and apply six sigma principles such as DFMEA, Root-cause analysis, etc. • Literature review of design standards such as IEC, UL, DNV, DIN, CCC, etc, research papers and patents to find and define technology trends. • Development of system architecture based on power system requirements in specific segments such as data centers, power plants, oil & gas, commercial etc. • Support the development of test plans based on latest standards and test equipment. • Support senior engineers in day-to-day activities.
