Duty hours are subject to the hour of functions. Maintain inter-personal relationship and liaison with other departments on requirements required for the specific function arrangement. Supervise all waiters and job delegation for each staff. Routine daily check-up of waiters of specific assignment for proper set-up of function. Ensure all supplies are in order and sufficient to use for set-up of function. Check with organizer for function programme before function commences. Check the event order on all the requirements of the function before function commences. Give instructions or briefing to banquet waiter or part time waiter on the requirements of the function and at the same time on physical appearance of staff on a job standard and courtesy to be stressed. Double check on all billing procedure of each function together with banquet headwaiter. Submit written report of all functions, daily log book, or any damages, complaints or compliments to banquet headwaiters. Recommend disciplinary action/reward for outstanding staff to banquet headwaiters and of waiters creating unbecoming behaviour and disciplinary action to be taken. Correct waiter for their wrong behavior and give proper guidance and refer to headwaiter if in any case. Discuss complaints to banquet headwaiters to adopt a better measures to solve complaints. Performs specific duties such as taking charge of smaller functions in the absence of supervisor. To work in a team spirit at all times and at all levels. To perform any additional duties as instructed by immediate supervisor.
