Assistant Manager- Transfer Pricing
Location: Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia (ONSITE)
Salary: RM6,000 - RM8,000
Role Description
The Assistant Manager - Transfer Pricing will play a crucial role in ensuring compliance with transfer pricing tax laws and supporting clients with high-quality advisory services. This position requires expertise in transfer pricing documentation, analysis, and regulatory compliance. The Assistant Manager will guide the team in preparing accurate and comprehensive transfer pricing documentation and provide insightful advisory support to clients on complex transfer pricing matters.
Key Responsibilities:
- Transfer Pricing Compliance
Ensure compliance with relevant transfer pricing regulations by overseeing documentation preparation, analysis, and filing.
Review and guide the team’s work on documentation to maintain accuracy, timeliness, and adherence to regulatory standards.
- Client Advisory and Support
Advise clients on transfer pricing strategies, policies, and regulatory changes that could impact their operations.
Serve as a trusted advisor to clients on transfer pricing issues, supporting their decision-making and aligning strategies with compliance requirements.
- Benchmarking and Pricing Analysis
Conduct detailed benchmarking studies and pricing analyses to determine fair and compliant pricing structures.
Oversee data collection, validation, and analysis, ensuring all pricing analysis is robust, accurate, and well-documented.
- Regulatory Monitoring and Reporting
Stay current on updates to transfer pricing laws, regulations, and OECD guidelines.
Communicate regulatory changes and their potential impacts on clients' transfer pricing policies and compliance.
Requirements:
Strong knowledge of transfer pricing principles, tax regulations, and relevant local and international standards.
Excellent analytical skills for performing pricing studies and ensuring accurate documentation.
Effective leadership and mentoring skills to support and develop team members.
This role is ideal for a proactive and detail-oriented transfer pricing professional with a passion for advisory work, strong technical expertise, and the ability to build and maintain client relationships in a dynamic regulatory landscape.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Accounting or Finance and at least 3 years of relevant transfer pricing experience.
