- Ensure quality of student learning experience by effective delivery of scheduled teaching, laboratory work and tutorials while paying due attention to students’ progression towards successful completion of their respective course.
- Prepare and maintain the Module Implementation Plan (MIP) and carryout the Teaching and Learning (T&L) functions as defined in the Module Implementation Plan.
- Prepare Student Study Guide for the respective module.
- Study and become familiar with the course/subject requirements (learning outcomes, content areas, assessment schemes) as ascertained in Malaysia Quality Agency (MQA) and approved by the institution.
- Adhere closely to all requirements relating to monitoring of teaching and learning as stipulated by the institution and relevant external body (e.g. MQA).
- Maintain and make available all documentation for quality teaching and learning processes as required by the Code of Practices for Programme Accreditation (COPPA) and the institution.
- Ensure that the course/subject syllabus and learning outcomes (LO) are fully covered and completed accordingly as stipulated in MQA and the institution documents.
- Provide students with relevant materials that will enable them to achieve course/ subject objectives and learning outcomes.
- Prepare in accordance with approved standards, the Examination Blueprint, Summative and Formative Assessment Papers by the given deadline.
- Carry out formative assessments and monitor students’ performance by analyzing and appraising task and classroom performance.
- Set and mark assignments and examinations briefs and papers, including analyzing and reporting examination results.
- Keep up-to-date with latest developments in the relevant areas of work and maintain links with respective industry.
- Participate actively in professional development activities to meet the changing needs of the institution and to maintain own continuing professional development.
- Undertake research and other forms of scholarly activities as required which may include presenting research papers at conferences and publishing work in journals of international standing.
- Undertake any other duties that may be assigned from time to time.
JOB REQUIREMENTS
- Must have a Master’s or Ph.D. in Human Resources or related field.
- At least 2 years of teaching experience and vast experience in the Human Resource industry
- Demonstrated expertise in Human Resources practices.
- Experience and proficiency in AI applications relevant to HR is an added advantage.
- Strong pedagogical skills with a passion for teaching and scholarly activities
- Good communication skills, both written and verbal and presentation abilities.
- Able to interact well with students and faculty members
- A commitment to staying abreast of industry trends and incorporating new technologies into teaching practices.
