Construction Site Supervisor

Key Responsibilities: Site Management: Supervise day-to-day operations on the construction site. Ensure adherence to project schedules, quality standards, and safety regulations. Monitor and manage site logistics, including equipment and materials delivery. Team Leadership: Manage and coordinate contractors, subcontractors, and site workers. Assign tasks and monitor progress to meet project milestones. Provide training and guidance to site staff to improve performance and safety practices. Safety and Compliance: Enforce workplace safety protocols and compliance with local construction codes. Conduct regular site inspections to identify hazards and resolve issues promptly. Maintain records of incidents, near misses, and implemented corrective actions. Budget and Resource Management: Monitor project expenses and minimize cost overruns. Allocate resources effectively to optimize efficiency. Work closely with the project manager to report on financial and operational performance. Communication and Reporting: Serve as the primary on-site contact for stakeholders, including clients, engineers, and inspectors. Provide daily or weekly progress updates to the project manager. Address and resolve any issues or conflicts that arise during construction. Problem Solving: Troubleshoot on-site challenges, including technical and logistical issues. Proactively identify potential risks and implement mitigation strategies. Qualifications and Skills: Education: Diploma or degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
