  1. Make sure the webpage is open.
  2. In the Safari app on your Mac, choose Safari > Preferences, then click Security.
  3. Make sure the Enable JavaScript checkbox is selected.
  4. Click Websites.
  5. On the left, click Content Blockers.
  6. Make sure Off is chosen in the pop-up menu next to the website.
  7. On the left, click Pop-up Windows.
  8. Make sure Allow is chosen in the pop-up menu next to the website.

Our client is a subsidiary of a Hong Kong public listed company and a China state-owned company is a one-stop logistics solutions provide which include Freight Forwarding (which covers customs clearance and haulage), Project Logistics, Contract Logistics, Cross-Border e-Commerce Logistics and other services. They are currently looking for the right candidate to fill the following position

FORWARDING/CUSTOM CLEARANCE MANAGER

(Setia Alam, Shah Alam, Selangor)

Responsibilities:

  • Oversee and manage all customs clearance processes to ensure compliance with regulations.
  • Engage directly with customs authorities, customers, and internal teams to provide real-time updates and respond to enquiries.
  • Prepare and maintain accurate documentation for all customs-related activities, ensuring timely submissions and adherence to regulatory requirements.
  • Apply KEK certification knowledge to streamline customs procedures and resolve any clearance issues.
  • Identify and address any issues that may arise during the clearance process, mitigating risks to maintain supply chain efficiency.
  • Stay informed about changes in customs regulations and update procedures accordingly to ensure continued compliance.

Requirements:

  • Candidate must possess a KEK certification (Custom Agent Course).
  • Must have KEK sea customs clearance experience in automotive industry
  • Excellent experience in the Customs Import Clearance Process and knowledge in customs regulations
  • Good communication and networking with customs officers
  • Must be able to communicate effectively in Mandarin, English and Bahasa Melaysia. (Mandarin is mandatory as role required to deal with mandarin speaking clients)
  • 5-days week

Salary: RM6.000 – RM9,000, to commensurate with experience
