About the role

What you need to know:

Investment

Item 1-4 required to strict with the tight deadline.

1. Process Investment Trade execution as Regional Portfolio Manager execute with broker, custody bank within the timeline (within Trade date).

2. Validate & prepare Trade Order form with supporting documents and payment voucher.

3. Prepare and submit Trade Blotter to Aladdin within the timeline (T+1).

4. Prepare and submit Cash movement template to Aladdin i.e. custody fee, bank transfer in/out for investment etc. (T+1).

5. Monitor & process any Corporate action for preparing CR advice, GL account charge code to Cashier for interest, dividend and investment maturity included follow up 1% withholding tax certification with custody.

6. Validate & reconcile & payment voucher for investment expenses i.e. custody fee, Blackrock & Internal CIO expense etc.

7. Control & cross check Trial Balance for investment part both USGAAP & Local stat with related reports and making any adjustment as needed.

8. Prepare JV. for Investment i.e. accrual investment expense, Blackrock & Internal CIO expense, adjustment pricing for local stat as local regulation etc.

9. Support on Balance Sheet reconciliation for investment accounts.

10. Prepare Net Investment Income report to GL for Specific Business Tax calculation.

11.Prepare any investment reports i.e. monthly investment transaction report, cash inflow report for investment, investment aging report, OIC investment reports, etc.

12. Process OIC pledged bond – review UEPR, add/return pledged bond, report submission via OIC system.


What we’re looking for:

  • A bachelor's degree in finance, accounting.
  • Native or business level Thai and English required (read/written/spoken).
  • Thai native communication
  • More than 1 year of relevant experience in Finance or Accounting, preferably in an insurance company.
  • Accounting knowledge and Tax knowledge related to investments
  • Good Interpersonal and communication skills to interact with employees, superiors, and external parties.
  • Ability to work under pressure and tight deadlines.
  • Well planned, organized with keen attention to detail.
  • Basic computer skills with prior experience working with accounting software and MS Office i.e. Excel, Word and Powerpoint
