  1. Make sure the webpage is open.
  2. In the Safari app on your Mac, choose Safari > Preferences, then click Security.
  3. Make sure the Enable JavaScript checkbox is selected.
  4. Click Websites.
  5. On the left, click Content Blockers.
  6. Make sure Off is chosen in the pop-up menu next to the website.
  7. On the left, click Pop-up Windows.
  8. Make sure Allow is chosen in the pop-up menu next to the website.

The Electric Cable Jointer performs installation, cable termination to equipment and overhead lines. He/She performs cable inspection and locate faults for repair or replacement. He/She works indoors, outdoors and in confined spaces. He/She will have to stand for long hours, climb, bend and kneel for cable works. He/She is also expected to be detail oriented to ensure safety on job.

  • Carry out cable spiking.
  • Carry out cable termination.
  • Connect generator power and cables in accordance to code of practice.
  • Fix cables that are not working, while following safety rules.
  • Install low and high voltage, and cable joints in accordance to project blueprints.
  • Maintain safety in the work area.
  • Perform cable inspection.
  • Perform cable jointing in accordance to standard code of practice.
  • Trace High Voltage cable joint failure.

Requirement:

Candidate with at least 2 years working experience with cable jointer scope.

Candidate must be having Cable Jointer Certificate from Suruhanjaya Tenaga at least PK1 or above. Kindly provide your cable jointer certificate with your CV in this application.

The job will require travelling within Malaysia.
