Role and Responsibilities General Management and Strategy Lead the development and implementation of people strategies aligned with the company's goals and objectives. This includes collaborating with business departments, managing manpower planning and budgeting, and recommending policy changes to align with business goals. Oversee organizational change processes to improve departmental efficiency. Talent Acquisition, Learning & Development, and Talent Management Ensure compliance with internal policies in recruitment processes. Develop creative sourcing plans, guide managers on job descriptions, and manage hiring processes, particularly for managerial levels. Oversee the overall company training program not limited to training needs analysis, support career path development, establish training systems and HRDF. Facilitate talent reviews and succession planning, support talent retention strategies, and implement talent development projects Performance Management and Compensation Administer performance management processes, provide training and guidance, and facilitate objective alignment for managerial levels Manage annual pay reviews, salary structures, and bonus payouts, ensuring compliance with corporate compensation policies Employee Relations, Industrial Relations and Compliance Ensure adherence to Malaysian labor laws, such as the Malaysia Employment Act, Industrial Relations Act, OSHA, EPF, SOCSO, and Inland Revenue Board regulations Manage employee relations and performance cases professionally, including handling labor disputes, conducting investigations, and negotiating termination of labor contracts Oversee HR operations not limited to compensation and benefit, total reward management, vendor management, cafeteria operation and company transportation of direct labor. Manage key compliance and audit activities in the Malaysia with regard to labor and rules especially in RBA, ISO standards, and any other form of audits compliances. Coaching and Support Provide guidance to managers on HR issues, conduct investigations, and recommend solutions. Promote the company's Code of Business Conduct and integrate cultural standards into HR practices and processes Partner with leadership to foster a great work environment and build a sustainable company culture. Possess strong interpersonal skills, a proactive mindset, and the ability to work effectively in a highly-matrixed environment
