Qualifications
Education:
Bachelor’s degree in HR, Business Administration, or related field
Experience: Min of 5 years of HR experience (Preferably in the NGO sector)

  • Knowledge of Malaysian labor laws
  • Knowledge of HR best practices

Key Responsibilities

1. Recruitment and Selection
  • Manage the recruitment process:
  • Job postings, Resume screening, Slot interviews
  • Work with department heads to identify staffing needs

2. Onboarding and Orientation
  • Facilitate & conduct onboarding for new employees
  • Prepare materials for orientation sessions

3. Employee Relations
  • Act as the main contact for HR-related questions
  • Help resolve workplace conflicts
  • Promote a positive work environment

4. Performance Management
  • Support performance appraisal processes
  • Train managers on performance evaluations
  • Maintain records of employee performance
  • Provide feedback to management on performance

5. Policy Implementation
  • Assist in developing HR policies that comply with local laws
  • Ensure employees are informed about relevant policies
  • Implement HR procedures in accordance with organizational goals

6.Compensation and Benefits
  • Help manage staff benefits (leave, health benefits)
  • Review monthly compensation for staff
  • Support the external payroll team

7. HR Administration
  • Maintain accurate employee records
  • Update HR databases regularly

8. Compliance and Reporting
  • Ensure compliance with local labor laws
  • Ensure adherence to organizational policies
  • Assist in preparing reports for management
  • Prepare reports for regulatory agencies as needed
