Key Responsibilities:
- Timely collections of receivables in accordance to credit term and follow-up regularly on overdue accounts with branches and departments.
- Monitor practices and procedures in credit control processes and where necessary make recommendations.
- Compile and proof-read reporting.
- Ensure all control requirements met on a timely basis and compliance policy.
- Maintain up-to-date report submission for management review and perform any duties assigned by superior from time to time.
- Perform ad hoc or special request reporting, analysis, highlight issues and follow up outstanding matters.
- Proactive identification and resolution of potential overdue accounts.
- Liaising with sales, parts and service team to strategize to reduce outstanding amount.
- Monitoring debtor's balances to reduce the number of accounts to fall into bad debts.
Qualifications and Requirements:
- Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or related field.
- Proven experience in credit control, accounts receivable management, or related roles.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret financial data and make sound credit decisions.
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
- Proficiency in using accounting software and MS Office applications.
- Attention to detail and ability to prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment.
- Knowledge of relevant laws, regulations, and best practices in credit management.
