Process Engineer

1) Plan and request the related training to meet quality objectives. 2) Plan and conduct on-the-job training from time to time as when necessary. On-the-job training shall conduct with commensurate to the level of education the employee. 3) Managing the operations’ processes and related outputs compliance to its SOP. 4) Managing the achievement of the Key Performance Indicator (KPI). 5) Correcting, preventing or reducing undesired effects in order to improve the performance and effectiveness of the process. 6) Primary drivers for yield, quality and improvement projects. Responsible for the yield and quality KPI. 7) To prepare process Work Instruction (WI) for each production process. 8) To carry out and oversee cost reduction and improvement projects. 9) Responsible for reviewing FMEA, Control plan, procedures and SOPs. 10) Attend the team feasibility study of newly assigned projects. 11) Redefine products and material specifications to improve the manufacturability. 12) Involve in cross function teamwork to tackle and resolve any complaints by customers and reduce process COPQ. 13) Continues improvement activities needed to reduce quality issue. 14) Involves all activities related to the Engineering section. 15) To liaise with internal team for new mold testing & trouble shooting. 16) To liaise with customer for new mold testing. - Work up mold testing schedule - Jig, fixtures & materials preparation for mold test. - Attend tooling testing. - Prepare testing report. Coordination with internal team for improvement. 17) Study new project process flow and packaging standard. 18) Follow up ECN and Sample submission. 19) Make sure the ISO and other audit related document is up to date. 20) Prepare mold repair record and follow up mold repair status. 21) Liaise with related department for replying of corrective and preventive action. 22) To maintain proper filling for all respective document. 23) Ensure the checklist/forms in use are compliance to EMS/QMS. 24) Perform other tasks / duties as assigned or required.
