As part of our expansion, we are in the midst of searching for a potential candidate to join our Human Resources and Administration (HRA) team.
We are seeking a meticulous, resourceful, and people-focused HR Associate that will be responsible for key HR functions and to work closely with business units in aligning HR strategies with business objectives. You are expected to proactively address organizational needs, champion employee engagement, and partner with leaders to drive HR initiatives that impact culture, performance, and overall business success.
RESPONSIBILITIES A. Employee Relations & Engagement
- -Drive employee engagement initiatives and working closely with leaders to shape a positive and inclusive work culture. -Partner with business unit managers to address and resolve employee relations issues, using data-driven insights and best practices to support organizational objectives. -Serve as a point of contact for employee inquiries and concerns, providing guidance on company policies, procedures, and employee relations. -Coordinate and support expat management portfolio by assisting with the application/renewal/cancellation of employment/dependent pass. -Handling of exit interviews; processing of employee data, exit documents and processes for local and foreign staff i.e. employment passes, tax clearance, return of work equipment and management of work access.
B. HR Reporting & Data Management
- -Administer, process, maintain, and update the Human Resource Management System (HRMS), with accurate and timely input. -Responsible for the upkeep of data and information to relevant government agencies or statutory bodies within Malaysia. -Use HR data and analytics to provide insights into workforce trends, turnover rates, and employee engagement metrics, partnering with leadership to make informed decisions. -Responsible for staff leave administration, maintenance, and staff attendance.
C. Office & Business Support
- -Responsible to manage and upkeep company facilities for creating world-class working environment for employees, point of contact for building management, repairs, and maintenance. You are expected to be present in the office to manage such upkeep efforts. -Working alongside our Office Runner/Dispatch Staff to provide structured daily schedules on administrative support which includes the delivery and receipt of documents and equipment. -Coordinate with travel agents on flight tickets, hotel arrangements, ground transportation, as well as process visa and travel insurance as and when required. -Coordinate and support the preparation of company events such as town hall meetings, meetings with clients and annual dinners. -Procure office consumables and supplies.
