JOB SCOPE

  • Responsible for the completion of risk and compliance-based internal audit reviews and ad-hoc assurance-related reviews across the Company, continuous identification of potential areas of control weakness and inefficiency, and agreeing on realistic and effective remedial action with management to improve or strengthen internal control or make efficiency savings.
  • Plan and execute audit assignments in accordance with the international standards for the professional practice of internal auditing as set out in the IPPF.
  • Provide assurance on the governance, risk management and internal control systems and processes.
  • Promote and improvise effectiveness and efficiency in Company internal control practices. Internal controls comprise the plan of organisation and the methods and measures adopted to safeguard assets, comply with laws and regulations, check the accuracy and reliability of management data, promote operational efficiency and encourage adherence to prescribed policies. These controls must embrace the policies, procedures, and practices established by management as well as the plan of organization and other measures intended to promote and facilitate their implementation. Internal control is the whole system of control, financial or otherwise, established by management in order to carry on the business of the organisation in an orderly manner.
  • To actively contribute to the development of the department in line with new issues and best practice in Internal Audit and Malaysian Code of Corporate Governance (MCCG).
  • Responsible for monitoring the completion of actions agreed upon as a result of all internal audits. Includes gathering information from action owners and updating internal audit records. Prepare reports on overdue actions for the Board and Audit Committee.
  • Provide advice and support on the interpretation of policies such as the Anti Bribery & Corruption, tendering policy, MCCG and etc. upon request by respective departments.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: RM2,500.00 - RM3,500.00 per month
