The Master Data Manager will oversee and lead all operational aspects of master data management within the organization and be responsible to support Indonesia market's business. This includes managing regional & global master data projects, ensuring data integrity, validating and authorizing data changes, and leading a team to maintain data quality and compliance. The role of Master Data Manager is a strategic one, requiring a forward-thinking mindset, strong leadership skills, and the ability to collaborate across functions to ensure efficient and accurate data governance. Key Responsibilities: Master Data Management • Lead, mentor, and develop a team of Master Data specialists to align with business objectives and enhance data management practices. • Set clear performance expectations and guide team members to achieve their goals. • Facilitate regular performance reviews and provide coaching to enhance team performance. • Oversee the management and maintenance of all operational master data (Vendor, Customer, Material, Pricing, BOM, etc), ensuring accuracy, consistency, and timeliness across systems. • Implement and enforce data governance policies and standards to ensure data quality and compliance. • Collaborate with key business units to understand data requirements and provide support in data-related matters. • Foster strong relationships with internal stakeholders (such as IT, operations, finance, and supply chain teams) and external vendors to ensure efficient data flow. • Act as the primary point of contact for any data-related queries or issues. • Collaborate with key business users to resolve master data issues and ensure system alignment. • Provide regular reporting on master data performance, highlighting any data issues and proposing corrective actions. • Conduct data analysis to support business decision-making and identify trends or anomalies in data that may require attention. • Develop and present data quality reports, offering insights to the Master Data Service Lead and other leadership teams. Project Management • Lead and coordinate master data-related projects, ensuring project milestones and deadlines are met. • Work with cross-functional teams to implement data-related improvements and optimizations. • Act as a subject matter expert (SME) in data management for ongoing projects and initiatives. Compliance & Risk Management • Ensure compliance with internal and external data management policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements. • Implement risk mitigation strategies and ensure that data management processes align with industry best practices and standards Continuous Improvement • Drive continuous improvement initiatives in master data management processes and systems to increase efficiency and data quality. • Stay updated with industry trends, best practices, and technological advancements to enhance the Master Data function. Requirements: • Bachelor’s degree in business administration, Information Technology, Data Management, or a related field. • At least 7 years of experience in master data management handling large-scale data management and working experience in SAP data management system and data governance tools. • MUST be able to read, write and speak with fluent Bahasa Indonesia proficiency in a business context as you are required to present your case to the stakeholders that are based in Indonesia. • Strong leadership and team management skills. • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities. • Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with different teams and stakeholders. • Attention to detail and commitment to data accuracy • Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively in a fast-paced environment. • Strong organizational skills with the ability to drive initiatives and projects to completion • A proactive, result-oriented mindset with a passion for continuous improvement
