Assistant Manager – Fast Food (Specialized in Fried Chicken, Burgers, and Related Products) The Assistant Manager is responsible for assisting in the efficient management of a fast food outlet with a focus on fried chicken, burgers, and other quick-service menu items. DESCRIPTION : - Oversee Daily Operations: Ensure the restaurant runs smoothly and efficiently during shifts. - Food Quality: Monitor preparation and cooking of fried chicken, burgers, and other menu items to maintain quality and consistency. - Customer Service: Resolve customer complaints and ensure a positive dining experience. - Staff Supervision: Train, schedule, and lead team members to achieve operational goals. - Inventory Management: Maintain stock levels for ingredients and supplies. - Health & Safety: Ensure compliance with food safety and hygiene standards. - Cash Handling: Manage daily cash flow and prepare basic sales reports. REQUIREMENT : - High school diploma or equivalent; a degree or diploma in hospitality or culinary arts is an advantage. - 5 years and above of supervisory experience in the fast food industry, particularly in handling fried chicken, burgers, and similar items. Technical Skills: - In-depth knowledge of frying, grilling, and food preparation techniques. - Proficiency with kitchen equipment such as deep fryers, grills, and food processors. - Ability to monitor and adjust recipes for taste and consistency. Soft Skills: - Strong leadership and motivational skills. - Excellent customer service and problem-solving abilities. - Effective communication and ability to train and manage a team. - Financial acumen, including cost control and basic accounting knowledge. Work Environment: - Multitasking and quick decision-making. - Physical demands, including standing for extended periods and handling heavy kitchen equipment. - Flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
