Duties & Responsibilities (Incoming): - - Withdraw samples from incoming materials according to a sampling plan and perform inspections before releasing them for use. - Coordinate with other departments to manage defects caused by suppliers. Ensure that all affected stock is blocked and the necessary paperwork is completed. - Follow up with procurement/suppliers on supporting documents (such as stress reports) for incoming materials on a regular basis. - Update work instructions and guidelines if there are any changes to existing practices. - Prepare SCARs (when required) and follow up on actions from suppliers to resolve any non-conformance issues or rejections. - Prepare a monthly Incoming Report for management review. Duties & Responsibilities (Inline): - - Responsible for inspecting various production lines to ensure quality standards are met. - Take immediate action to rectify any deviations or non-conformances. - Verify compliance with environmental monitoring and hygiene/sanitation programs. - Verify preservatives near material preparation/processing areas. - Compile pallets of retained samples. - Maintain a clean and tidy work area on the production line. Education & Experience: - - Diploma or Degree. - Experienced in QC in-line inspection in manufacturing or packaging industry will have an advantage. - Basic computer skills (Microsoft Office and SAP). Requirements & Skill: - - Knowledge of GMP, HACCP, ISO preferred. - Good and strong follow up skills and able to communicate clearly with other function. - Time management. - Must be able to work extra hours, including weekends and public holidays, odd hours, rotating shifts, and be available on call at any time.
