Job Descriptions
1. To administer day to day activities on source and procure equipment, spare parts and consumables for the plant’s operations.
2. To constantly execute procurement strategies to identify opportunities for improvement and potential cost effective.
3. To implement best practices in procurement that call upon minimum operational cost internally and externally, establishing and maintaining good relationship with suppliers that are in the company’s interest.
4. To administer the scheduling and timeliness of purchase delivery to ensure the meets the datelines of arrival of material purchase.
5. To attend and when requested to supervise stock take inventories activities.
6. To ensure all procurement activities comply with organizational policies and requirements.
7. Keep accurate records of purchase orders, invoices and delivery schedules.
8. To plan and prioritize operations to ensure maximum performance, minimum delay and maintain quality standards.
Job Requirement
1. Candidate must possess at least Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Business Management, Engineering or equivalent.
2. At least 2-3 years’ experience working in procurement.
3. Strong oral and written communication skills in Bahasa Malaysia & English
4. Able to speak & write Japanese language is an added advantage.
5. Able to work independently with minimal supervision
6. Must be computer literate and strong in data analytical.
7. Must be a creative, motivated and flexible team player, able to carry tasks and projects to completion.
