Job Responsibilities
- Oversee the entire Human Resources function including recruitment, performance management, employee relations, and compliance.
- Develop and implement HR policies, procedures, and best practices aligned with organizational goals.
- Provide strategic HR leadership and guidance to management and staff to foster a positive workplace culture.
- Manage the HR team, ensuring effective delivery of services and support to all departments.
- Lead initiatives on employee engagement, talent development, and succession planning.
- Handle complex employee relations issues, including disciplinary actions, conflict resolution, and legal compliance matters.
- Analyze HR metrics to assess trends and propose changes to improve HR effectiveness.
- Partner with department heads to align human resources strategies with business objectives.
- Stay updated on labor laws and regulations to ensure organizational compliance.
Requirements
Job Requirements
- Master's degree/ Bachelor's Degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field; relevant certifications (e.g., SHRM, CIPD) are advantageous.
- At least 10 years of progressive HR experience, with a strong background in generalist functions.
- Proven experience in managing HR teams and building effective relationships across all levels of the organization.
- Strong knowledge of HR legislation, employment law, and best practices.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to think strategically while being detail-oriented in execution.
- Experience in change management, organizational development, and workforce planning.
- Fluency in English and Bahasa Malaysia; additional languages are a plus.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a data-driven approach.
