Position: Inventory Controller & Stock Management

Location: Kopi Saigon Central Warehouse, Subang
Salary Range: RM2,200 ~ RM3,000

Responsibilities:1. Nationwide Inventory Management:

  • Maintain accurate records of all inventory across multiple outlets throughout Malaysia.
  • Monitor stock levels daily and ensure all outlets are adequately supplied with raw materials and products.

2. Stock Distribution:

  • Coordinate and schedule deliveries to all Kopi Saigon outlets nationwide.
  • Prepare and verify order accuracy before shipment to ensure smooth operations at outlets.

3. Stock Control Systems:

  • Implement and manage inventory control systems (e.g., FIFO, LIFO) to reduce waste and optimize stock rotation.
  • Use inventory management software to track stock movement and generate regular reports.

4. Stock Audits & Reconciliation:

  • Conduct regular stock counts at the central warehouse and outlets to verify accuracy.
  • Investigate and resolve discrepancies in stock records promptly.

5. Supplier Coordination:

  • Liaise with suppliers to ensure timely delivery of raw materials and packaging.
  • Verify the quality and quantity of incoming supplies and escalate any issues.

6. Storage & Warehouse Management:

  • Maintain organized and clean storage areas to ensure compliance with food safety standards.
  • Monitor storage conditions to prevent spoilage or damage to stock.

7. Waste Management & Reporting:

  • Track and report expired, damaged, or overstocked items to minimize wastage.
  • Suggest improvements in procurement and storage to enhance cost efficiency.

8. Communication with Outlets:

  • Serve as the main point of contact for outlet managers regarding inventory needs and stock issues.
  • Address urgent stock requests to minimize disruptions to outlet operations.

Requirements:

  • Minimum 1 year of experience in inventory or supply chain management.
  • Familiarity with inventory control systems (e.g., FIFO, LIFO) and stock tracking software.
  • Strong organizational and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to manage deliveries and stock movements across multiple locations.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel or inventory management software.
  • Basic knowledge of food safety and handling is an advantage.
