The Clinical Applications Specialist will play a critical role in supporting the deployment, training, and ongoing success of Synapse Enterprise Imaging and other medical informatics solutions across our network. This role involves providing clinical expertise and ensuring that end users have seamless experience with our solutions, contributing to improved patient outcomes and operational efficiency within healthcare facilities.

Job Responsibilities:

1. Solution Deployment & Implementation:

  • Assist in the installation, configuration, and integration of Synapse Enterprise Imaging systems across client sites, ensuring smooth and compliant setup.
  • Support project engineers in technical aspects of solution deployment, with a focus on workflow optimization and clinical utility.

2. Clinical Training & User Support:

  • Conduct on-site and remote training sessions for clinical staff to ensure they are proficient in using Synapse Enterprise Imaging.
  • Develop and maintain training materials and user guides, adapting materials to suit the needs of different healthcare professionals.
  • Act as the first point of contact for clinical application support, troubleshooting user issues and providing resolution or escalating to technical support if necessary.

3. Client Consultation & Workflow Analysis:

  • Work closely with clients to understand clinical workflows, providing recommendations to optimize Synapse usage in alignment with clinical needs.
  • Facilitate the customization of solutions to meet specific client requirements, coordinating with project engineers and development teams as needed.

4. Post-Implementation Support & Customer Success:

  • Maintain regular check-ins with clients post-implementation to assess user satisfaction and address any emerging needs or feedback.
  • Support continuous improvement efforts by gathering user feedback and insights on system performance and suggesting product enhancements.

5. Documentation & Reporting:

  • Document all training sessions, user interactions, and support cases to ensure thorough records for quality and audit purposes.
  • Provide regular updates and reports to the Business Leader on client progress, issue resolution, and training outcomes.

6. Industry & Product Knowledge:

  • Stay updated with developments in healthcare informatics, DICOM, HL7 standards, and evolving enterprise imaging technologies.
  • Participate in ongoing training sessions to deepen knowledge of Synapse Enterprise Imaging and other medical informatics solutions offered by FUJIFILM.

Job Requirements:

  • Candidate must possess Bachelor’s Degree or Diploma in Radiologic Technology, Healthcare Informatics, or a clinically-related field.
  • Minimum 3 years of experience working with enterprise imaging, PACS/RIS, or other clinical systems in a healthcare setting is required.
  • Proficiency in DICOM and HL7 standards, and an understanding of healthcare workflows. Familiarity with FUJIFILM Synapse Enterprise Imaging or similar systems is an advantage.
  • Candidate must be adaptable and flexible, a team player and customer focused.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to train diverse users. Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Detailed oriented and well organized in managing job tasks.
  • Possess own transport andability to travel to client sites as needed.
