Assistant Manager Restaurant (Mandarin Speaker)

Key Responsibilities: Assisting in Daily Restaurant Operations -Support the Restaurant Manager in overseeing the daily operations of the restaurant, ensuring efficient service and a high standard of customer satisfaction. -Supervise the front-of-house and back-of-house teams to ensure smooth coordination between kitchen and service staff. -Assist with managing restaurant shifts, including staff scheduling, and ensuring proper coverage during busy times. Inventory and Stock Control -Help manage restaurant inventory, ordering food and supplies as needed to ensure that stock levels remain appropriate. -Work with the Restaurant Manager to maintain food and beverage cost controls and assist in tracking orders and deliveries. -Monitor and control wastage, ensuring that resources are used efficiently. Health, Safety, and Compliance -Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, food safety standards, and local laws. -Oversee cleanliness and organization of the restaurant, ensuring that all areas meet hygiene standards. -Conduct regular checks to ensure kitchen equipment is maintained and in good working condition. Financial Performance and Reporting -Assist in managing the restaurant’s budget, controlling costs, and maximizing profitability. -Prepare and review daily, weekly, and monthly reports on sales, expenses, and other key performance indicators. -Help the Restaurant Manager analyze financial data and implement strategies to increase revenue and reduce expenses. Qualifications: -Experience: Previous experience in a supervisory or managerial role in a restaurant or hospitality environment is preferred. -Skills: Strong leadership, organizational, and communication skills. Ability to handle multiple tasks and work in a fast-paced environment. -Personal Traits: Customer-oriented, proactive, and solution-focused. Ability to stay calm under pressure and handle difficult situations effectively. Preferably Mandarin Speaker
