• Chooses appropriate methods for operating machines and monitors them during the machining process, which includes: • Independently sets up and operate CNC machine tools to manufacture precision parts according to detailed specifications. Monitors machining processes to maintain tight tolerances and achieve exceptional quality standards. • Skillfully operates various manual tools such as saws, sanders, and drills as required to complement CNC machining processes. • Identifies and selects the most suitable tools, machines, and materials for the fabrication of custom parts, ensuring optimal performance and precision. • Generates programs for a five-axis CNC mill and a CNC lathe. Programs CNC machines using CAD/CAM software, and perform program editing at machine controls to plan the most efficient sequence of operations. Optimizes machining processes for efficiency and accuracy. Validates programs to guarantee flawless execution and high-quality output. • Tests completed parts to detect defects and ensures conformance to specifications. Utilizes measurement tools to inspect and document mechanical parts, ensuring they meet stringent quality and specification requirements. • Maintains equipment in good working condition and ensures a safe, clean, and organized work area. Adheres to safety protocols and promotes a culture of safety within the machining environment.
