PRODUCTION OPERATOR

JOB AND RESPONSIBILITIES: 1) Operate Production Machinery: Operate and oversee machinery and equipment used in the production of Foley catheters, ensuring smooth and efficient operations. 2) Quality Control: i) Assist the production process to maintain high-quality standards and compliance with medical device regulations and specifications. ii) Support quality checks and inspections on catheters to ensure they meet predetermined quality standards. 3) Setup and Calibration: Set up, calibrate, and adjust machines as necessary to ensure accurate and precise production of Foley catheters. 4) Material Handling: i) Handle and manage raw materials, ensuring the appropriate quantities and qualities are used in the production process. 5) Record Keeping: Maintain accurate records of production activities, quality checks, machine maintenance, and any incidents or deviations from standard procedures. 6) Adherence to Regulations: Adhere to all healthcare regulations, guidelines, and safety protocols related to the production of medical devices, including Foley catheters. 7) Team Collaboration: Collaborate with team members, including supervisors, technicians, and quality control personnel, to ensure a cohesive and efficient production process. 8) Process Improvement: Suggest and implement improvements to the production process to enhance efficiency and optimize resources. REQUIREMENTS: • High school diploma or equivalent; additional technical or vocational training in production or manufacturing is a plus. • Previous experience in manufacturing, preferably in the healthcare industry or medical device production. • Strong attention to detail and quality control skills. • Ability to operate and maintain production machinery effectively.
