About the Role
Are you ready to kick-start your career in manufacturing engineering? Join our team as a Manufacturing Engineering Intern, where you will apply advanced skills and knowledge to support the development and implementation of manufacturing processes, equipment, and facilities. You’ll gain hands-on experience working on exciting projects and contribute to the success of our production goals in quality, safety, and cost efficiency.
Key Responsibilities
Support NPI Projects: Assist in planning, coordinating, and executing new product introduction (NPI) projects, ensuring timely and successful launches.
Documentation: Help prepare and maintain comprehensive documentation, including technical specifications, test plans, and validation protocols.
Testing and Validation: Participate in testing and validation of new products to ensure compliance with performance, safety, and regulatory standards.
Process Improvement: Work with cross-functional teams to identify and implement process improvements for manufacturing and development.
Data Analysis: Perform data analysis to evaluate product performance, identify improvement areas, and optimize metrics such as cycle time, weld strength, and defect rates.
Regulatory Compliance: Assist in ensuring all new products meet relevant regulatory standards, including ISO13485 requirements.
Communication: Provide updates to team members and stakeholders, addressing project progress and resolving any concerns effectively.
Qualifications and Experience
Required:
Education: Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Biomedical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
Technical Skills: Basic understanding of engineering principles, product development processes, and quality assurance methodologies.
Analytical Skills: Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to interpret data and make informed decisions.
Communication: Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
Team Player: Collaborative mindset with the ability to contribute to cross-functional projects.
Attention to Detail: Commitment to producing high-quality work with a keen eye for detail.
Preferred:
Software Proficiency: Familiarity with engineering tools and software, such as CAD and MATLAB, is a plus.
